SUNSARI: Roads in the Nishane region of Koshi Highway has become risky due to the flooded river and landslide at Nishane Danda in Dharan Sub-Metropolitan City-4.

While locals are fearsome regarding the consequences of landslides and flood, Bhakta Bahadur Rai who owns a local hotel in Nishane, Dharan Sub Metropolitan City-4, has already faced a loss of Rs 2.5 million as 1,014 square metres of his land along with six cottages have been drifted away in the landslide.

This has increased the risk of various other buildings in the area being washed away.
