SALYAN: Three people were critically injured when a clash erupted between the displaced people and Maoist cadres on Thursday morning in Salyan. According to the district police office, the clash erupted after a debate between the two sides regarding seized lands during the Maoist insurgency turned violent. Three persons, two locals and a Maoist cadre were critically injured and are undergoing treatment in Nepalgunj, added the police. As many as four persons have been held in connection with the incident.
