MORANG: Members of six families of Inaruwa, Sunsari, who were displaced following threats from an armed outfit, have not been able to return to their villages. Families of Chandra Bahadur Bhandari, Chandra Bahadur Bhandari, Laxmi Narayan Sharma, Kaji Basnet and Krishna Kumar Shrestha were compelled to flee to safety after armed groups issued death threats in order to extort money. Relatives of the victims said the armed groups had been targeting the royalists and Nepali Congress activists, especially the people of hilly origin.
