Jajarkot, September 1

District Public Health Office, Jajarkot, has mobilised medical teams after viral fever outbreak in the district.

A team carrying medical supplies visited Triveni Nalgadh – 5 in the first phase, according to District Public Health Office, Jajarkot.Health workers led by CPN-Maoist Centre District Committee member Prashant Sharma will visit Bhandari Gaun, Muli and Pokhral, among other villages, in the second phase. The team would at first provide services to those in dire situation, said DPHO, Jajarkot.

Former home minister Shakti Bahadur Basnet said additional human resources would be mobilised in the district after taking stock of the situation. Five health workers along with a vehicle have been dispatched for now.
