Dolakha school gets two new buildings

Dolakha, August 17

Two newly constructed buildings were handed over to Tribhuvan Secondary School at a programme held on the school premises in Melung Rural Municipality, Dolakha, today.

Asian Development Bank had supported construction of the buildings with a loan of Rs 60.25 million. Old buildings of the school were destroyed by the 2015-earthquakes, some four years ago. Construction of two buildings with 12 rooms each, was completed a week ago. The building construction project had begun in 2017.

Chairman of the rural municipality Nar BahadurShrestha handed over keys of newly constructed buildings to the school Head Teacher Santosh Shrestha today. Chairman Shrestha said the new buildings would help improve teaching learning environment at the school.

Head Teacher Shrestha informed that the school had received affiliation for diploma degree in Civil Engineering from The Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training, recently. Ram HariShrestha, a social worker from the municipality had donated 29 ropani land for the school.
