Bhojpur, May 27

Nepali Congress leader Gagan Thapa today argued that to expect and dream of development in the country from the incumbent Nepal Communist Party-led government was nothing more than being guided by delusion.

“The unification of the two communist forces will make no difference to the country,” argued Thapa. He said that whether his party would support or not support the government would be decided only after evaluating the government’s activities.

Speaking at a gathering of Tarun Dal — the youth wing of the Nepali Congress — in Sankhuwasabha today, Thapa said, “The senior leaders in the past had contributed a lot to strengthening the party. Now the time has changed and a new era has started.
