Don’t speak against republicanism: Dahal
Sindhulimadi, August 4
Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Co-chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal today warned regressive forces not to speak against republicanism.
Inaugurating a bridge over the Sunkoshi River that connects Sindhuli’s Sunkoshi Rural Municipality with Ramechhap’s Khandadevi Rural Municipality, Dahal warned that people would punish the anti-republican forces in the country. “Some regressive forces are trying to subvert the current system.
They want the prime minister to rot in the jail and want to pay Rs 5 million for decapitating me. These forces have to be careful. People will punish them if they continue ranting against the new system,” Dahal warned.
Dahal claimed that regressive forces would not be able to destroy the republicanism brought by people after a lot of sacrifices. “The new system came out of their love, sacrifice and struggle,” he held.
Dahal had laid the foundation stone of the bridge when he was the prime minister. The bridge will benefit thousands of people from Sunapati, Khandadevi and Dorambha rural municipalities.
