Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Purna Bahadur Khadka has instructed the relevant agencies to promptly initiate the construction of temporary housing for earthquake survivors.
He mentioned that the initial installment of grant assistance, provided by the government for the construction of temporary housing, has reached the survivors.
Consequently, he emphasized the need to dismantle structures damaged by the earthquake and commence the construction of temporary housing immediately.
During a discussion today with the Ministers of the Karnali Provincial Government and the Heads of Security Agencies in Surkhet, Deputy Prime Minister Khadka conveyed that there is no shortage of resources for post-earthquake reconstruction.
Furthermore, the Deputy Prime Minister shared that the federal government is preparing to build temporary and permanent structures for schools, health institutions, and other public facilities damaged in the earthquake.
