DHANGADHI: Dr Govinda KC, who recently ended his hunger strike, has been admitted to Seti Zonal Hospital on his arrival in Dhangadhi, yesterevening.

While in the hospital, he said that though he has ended his strike at present owing to national territory encroachment issues, he would begin it again if his demands are not addressed.

Meanwhile, Dr Niranjan Dutta Sharma Poudyal of Seti Zonal Hospital stated that Dr KC is experiencing health problems and needs rest.

Dr KC had started his 17th hunger strike in Dadeldhura on November 4 demanding reforms in the medical sector. On October 15, the senior doctor had warned of a fresh hunger strike if his seven-point demands were not met by the government.
