Driver dead as gas bullet plunges into Trishuli River

DHADING: A man died after the gas bullet he was driving fell into Trishuli River at Gajuri Rural Municipality-2 along the Prithvi Highway of Dhading district, on Friday morning.

The deceased has been identified as driver Surendra Singh (36), an Indian national, according to Krishna Sapkota, Chief of District Traffic Police Office (DTPO), Gajuri.

The gas bullet (HR 55 Q 8630), ferrying gas and en route to Kathmandu, lost its control and plunged around 35 metres into the Trishuli River near Malekhu today, informed Gajuri DTPO.

Meanwhile, further investigation into the case is underway, said police.
