RUKUM: A man died on the spot after the jeep he was driving fell below the road in Banphikot Rural Municipality-3 of Western Rukum district on Friday afternoon.

The deceased has been identified as Tekman BK (28) of Aathbiskot Municipality-1, according to the District Police Office, Western Rukum.

According to the DPO, the jeep (Lu 1 Ja 2668) heading towards Syarpu from Nepane fell some 200 metres below the road killing the driver and critically injuring his five-year-old daughter, identified as Parbati BK.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Sumit Khadka at the DPO said, the injured girl was sent to the District Hospital for treatment.
