KATHMANDU: A person died after the tractor he was travelling on plunged off the road in Dhorpatan Municipality-2 of Baglung district on Sunday night.

The deceased has been identified as Serman Pun (23) of Pyuthan district.

According to police, the incident occurred when the tractor (Lu 3 Ta 2816) lost its control and fell some 150 metres below the road in Sokhola  at 10:30 pm yesterday, killing the driver's helper Pun on the spot.

Meanwhile further investigation into the case is under way, said police.
