DAMAULI: A drunken man allegedly killed his mother at Kyamin VDC-6 in Tanahun district on Saturday.

According to DSP Krishna Kumar Mahat of the District Police Office, Tanahun, Dev Bahadur Nepali (40) attacked his mother Putali Nepali (75) in a fit of rage yesterday night.

DSP Mahat added that Dev Bahadur first assaulted his mother, when she started to shout for help, he then threw her from the veranda.

Dev Bahadur is on the run after the incident.

Police said that they have started a manhunt to nab him.
