BIRGUNJ: The Parsa administration on Friday morning removed sadhus staging a sit-in at Birgunj’s Sirsiya dry port and resumed the transportation of goods.

Sadhus aligned with Hindu Kanwariya group had been staging a sit-in at Sirsiya Chowk since Thursday leaving hundreds of cargo vehicles stranded at the dry port.

Parsa CDO Keshavraj Ghimire said that the administration had used mild force to remove the agitating sadhus.
