Dudhkoshi Bridge at Jayaram Ghat comes into operation

KHOTANG: A 150 meters long motorable bridge constructed over Dudhkoshi River at Jayramghat in Khotang district has come into operation from Friday.

The bridge is constructed at the adjoining point between Khotang and Okhaldhunga districts.

An engineer involved in the construction Uddhav Rana Magar shared that the completion of the project was delayed few years as equipments' and technicians required for the construction had to be brought from abroad.

He added that the bridge was a model one in the country as it was constructed differently.

With the completion of the bridge, the districts have been linked to the national road network.

The bridge was constructed at an estimated cost of around Rs 100 million.
