UDAYAPUR: Police on Tuesday arrested two persons with possession of 180 kg illegal tobacco in Rishku VDC-2 of Udayapur district.

A police team deployed from the Area Police Office, Katahari, under the command of DSP Dipak Basnet nabbed Laxman Rai aka Dipak (38) of Okhle VDC-6 and Chatra Bahadur Magar of Tawashri-2 (33) 4 am.

Accompanied by three others, Basnet and Rai were heading towards Siraha from Suhaad of Udayapur when they are caught by the police today.

The three others are on the run, police informed.
