DHANGADHI: Police arrested two persons in possession of nine kg hasish from Nepal-India border in Dhanghadhi Sub-Metropolitan City-19 of Kailali district on Friday.

The arrestees have been identified as Dinesh Rokaya of Manakot and Bibek Bohora of Dahikot in Bajura district, according to the Kailali District Police Office.

The illegal drug was found during a security check.

Police had been in search of Rokaya, who was accused of involvement in drug smuggling activities earlier also.

Police informed that further investigation had begun, filing a case based in accordance with the Narcotic Drug (Control) Act, 1976.
