Kathmandu, May 5:

The Election Commission is expected to give a verdict on the row over the legitimate nominees of NSP (A) for the PR seats the party won in the CA polls.

The NSP (A) has won two seats under the PR system and two factions — one led by party vice-president Khushi Lal Mandal and another by general secretary Shyam Sunder Gupta — have submitted separate lists of nominees.

“Both factions submitted their letters today and we may take a decision on the issue tomorrow,” said EC spokesperson Laxman Prasad Bhattarai.
