Efforts on to resume Dhunche-Syaphru road
RASUWA: The Dhunche-Syaphru stretch of the Pasang Lhamu Highway obstructed by landslides for the past three days is likely to resume soon with continuous efforts of concerned authorities.
Abadhesh Bista, chief of Rasuwa District Police Office, said that a dozer has already begun the works and a technical study is being carried out to reduce risks in clearing the road.
Babulal Tamang, chairman of the Civil Society, Rasuwa, said that local people have been hit hard in various ways due to the road blockade.
Supply of essentials has been affected in particular.
