Sankhuwasabha, December 28:

Barhabise police today caught eight persons with home-made guns from Barhabise VDC.

Ramesh Koirala, assistant sub-inspector of Barhabise Police Post, said the police raided their homes tipped off by the locals and nabbed them for keeping guns without licence. Those arrested are Chhatra Chamling of Barhabise VDC-6, Bir Bahadur Rai, Kali Bahadur Rai, Narendra Rai, Prabhu Ram Rai, Bir Bahadur Gurung, Bhim Bahadur Rai and Nar Bahadur Limbu of Barhabise VDC-7.

They have been detained in District Police Office, Khandbari, police said.
