KATHMANDU: The nationwide coronavirus death-toll has advanced to 1864 with eight more fatalities reported on Friday.

Globally, over 1.8 million people have lost their lives to Covid-19 while more than 82 million people have been infected by the novel coronavirus.

Today, 426 new infections have surfaced after which Nepal’s total cases of infection have reached 261,019.

On Thursday, nine fatalities were reported which took the country-wide death toll to 1,856.
