Eight gas industries get NS certification
KATHMANDU: Nepal Bureau of Standards and Metrology (NBSM) has granted Nepal Standard (NS) certification to eight gas industries.
The gas industries that received certification include Manoj Gas in Bara, Nepal Gas in Balaju, Sri Krishna Gas in Dhading, Saibaba Gas in Chitwan, Metro Kathmandu Gas in Dhading, NL Gas in Bara, Janaki Gas in Nawalparasi, and Maruti Gas in Sunsari.
Director General of the Bureau Bishwa Babu Pudasaini said that the certification was provided following due processes.
Likewise, other gas industries — Koshi Gas and Rijalko Gas in Morang; Sriram Gas, Om Gas, Bhanu Gas and Gita Gas in Dhading; Jagadamba Gas, Nepal Gas Narayani and Ambar Gas in Bara; Manakamana Gas in Nepalgunj; Sagarmatha Gas, Surya Gas and Chandeshwori Gas in Kavrepalanchok; Pancha Mahalaxmi Gas and Trishul Gas in Rupandehi — have reached the final stage for receiving the certification, said Pudasaini.
Similarly, the Bureau has also asked Nobel Gas in Dhanusa; Namite Gas, Siddhartha Gas, Kabsans Gas and Satyanarayan Gas in Dhading; Gaurishankar Gas in Kavre; Siddhartha Gas and Butawal Gas in Rupandehi; Narayani Gas, Ugrachandi Gas and Baba Gas in Chitwan; Aarati Gas and Rajdhani Gas in Nawalparasi; Everest Gas in Kathmandu; Griha Laxmi Gas and Shakti Gas in Kaski to register for the certification.
Likewise, Pathibhara Gas, Parajuli Gas, Kankai Gas and Mechi Gas in Jhapa; Tribeni Gas in Dhading; Sugam Gas and Prima Gas in Sunsari; Sahara Gas in Makawanpur; Bheri Gas in Nepalgunj; Super Gas and Liyo Gas in Bara; and Royal Gas in Dhangadhi have also been asked to proceed towards acquiring the NS mark.
