KATHMANDU, FEBRUARY 13
As many as eight people lost their lives, and eighteen others sustained injuries in a road mishap in Palpa district on Tuesday.
According to the District Police Office Palpa, the incident occurred when a jeep heading to Kusumkhola from Dumre met with an accident at Masyam of Tihanu Rural Municipality-6 this afternoon.
Police reported that the identities of the deceased are yet to be ascertained. Meanwhile, the injured passengers are currently receiving treatment at Lumbini Medical College in the district
The cause of the accident is yet to be verified, police said, adding that an investigation into the case is underway.
