Farmers of Ektin, Panchthar have demanded an integrated service centre in their village.

Local farmers, participating in a training and seeds distribution programme in Ektin, sought such a facility, citing the difficulties for them to access the District Agriculture Development Office and the District Livestock Office in the district headquarters.

“We do have a service centre in Mayangnam as well but as that too is very far from our village, we need one in our village so that we can have an easy access to the facilities and services for the asking,” said a local farmer Ram Kumar Mainali.
