LAMJUNG: With the winter getting colder, locals of Manang have started migrating to Lamjung district headquarters Beshisahar of late.

The locals of Manang district migrate to Beshisahar, Kathmandu, Pokhara, Chitwan among other places during winter every year.

The residents of the upper Manang have started to migrate to the plains. Menaka Ghale of Manag said that all her family members have migrated to the plains.

The locals will return to their villages only in March next year.
