BHAKTAPUR: Former Prime Minsiter Dr Baburam Bhattarai underwent successful surgery of his prostrate gland today.

Naya Shakti Nepal Party Coordinator Dr Bhattarai was admitted to the Citizen Community Hospital at Gaththhaghar this afternoon.

A team headed by Hospital's Medical Superintendant Dr Rakesh Barma performed prostrate surgery on Dr Bhattarai, shared Hospital Director Shree Bhakta Kasichhawa.

Dr Barma informed that, "Bhattarai has been taking medicine under my supervision.

We performed surgery on him today. He would be discharged from the hospital after four days".
