Existing cabinet not to appoint envoys: Oli
Kathmandu, November 14:
Deputy Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli today said the existing cabinet of ministers would not finalise the appointment of ambassadors.
“The process of appointing ambassadors is almost complete but it is difficult to say when the appointments will be made. Probably, it would be finalised only after the formation of an interim government,” Oli said today.
He said he has not felt that UML was against the proposal of the other parties to let PM Girija Prasad Koirala head the interim government. When asked about the dissatisfaction of the Maoists over the draft of a peace agreement, he said: “That may be the personal view of the Maoist leader.”
Earlier speaking Deputy PM, Oli said peace has already been restored in the country and, therefore, everyone should focus on educational, economic and social development.
