Explosion rocks Bhairahawa

An unidentified gang detonated a bomb at a busy marketplace in Gallamandi on Tuesday. According to Rupandehi DPO, two persons who drove a motorcycle exploded a bomb near former minister Niranjan Thapa’s house at
Gallamandi. The blast did not cause any damage, police said. Alarmed by the explosion all the shops in Bhairahawa pulled the shutters down.
Meanwhile, a gang torched a motorbike of Rajendra Chaudhary, a resident of Dhamkai VDC, over the Rohini bridge on the Bhairahawa-Parasi road this morning. A person claiming himself a Madhesi Tigers leader claimed responsibility over the telephone.
