Extensive yoga camp to be organised in Pokhara

POKHARA: A three-day extensive yoga camp is to be organised in Pokhara to mark the Third National Yoga Day.

The yoga camp — organised by the Health Division of the Pokhara Lekhnath Metropolitan City with the coordination of Patanjali Yoga Committee, Nepal — will be held at the White House Party Palace at local Simalchaur from 6 am to 8 am, January 15-17.

According to the information provided at the press conference held on Saturday in Pokhara, Loknath Khanal will be the chief instructor for the yoga camp with the theme 'Yoga for All and Yoga for All Time.' .

The organisers believe that over 500 people will participate in the yoga camp set to start on the 'Yoga Day' that is recognised by 177 countries around the world.

The metropolis was thinking of promoting yoga and ayurveda simultaneously in the metropolis in the coming days, informed Basanta Raj Sigdel, Officiating Administrative Chief of Pokhara Lekhnath Metropolitan City.
