Winner of the Magsaysay award Mahabir Pun has pledged his eyes to the cause of medical science after his death. Speaking at a function of the Pokhara university management college, Pun said on Friday that he was willing to donate his eyes for the benefit of the sightless.

Ninety persons including former chairman of the Nepal Chambers of Commerce and Industries Anand Raj Mulmi, and Management College chief Hari Bahadur Khadka pledged to donate their eyes after death, said programme coordinator Jeevan Baral.
