JHAPA: he police arrested two fake examinees from Jhapa on the second day of the ongoing SLC examination. Prahalad Subba and Taranath Ghimire were detained while they were taking the exam of Nepali paper in the name of Bhutanese refugee students Sagar Suni and Tilak Subba at Triratna secondary School examination centre in Beldangi, Jhapa.

Dipak Adhikari of the District Education Office Jhapa said that action will be taken against them.

Meanwhile, at least 6 persons including a journalist were injured when police charged batons at those passing cheats to examinees at Nepal Rastriya Secondary Madarsa examination centre in Kalaiya, Bara. Local media person, Mukesh Yadav was injured in the incident. Chandra Kishor Shah, a local said that wrongdoings and malpractices were rampant during SLC.
