KATHMANDU: A painter died after falling from the third floor of a building in Balaju of KMC on Sunday.

The deceased has been identified as Yekbal Aalam, 17, of Bettiah in India, currently living in Mitranagar.

Police said Aalam was critically injured after falling from the house belonging to Keshav Sthapit and he breathed his last while receiving treatment at Maharajgunj-based Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital in Kathmandu.
