DHADING: Farmers staged a protest by pouring milk on the road to demand a hike in the milk rate on Prithivi Highway on Saturday.

As a part of their protest they also locked up the Chishan milk centre, which is located in Madhavsthan of Thankre Village Development Committee of Dhading. They are protesting the leadership of Milk Production Farmers Committee. Milk of almost 400 liters collected from different places has been wasted.

Vehicular movement has also been halted on the Prithivi Highway due to their protest.
