FSF-N, RJP-N close to deal

KATHMANDU: Federal Socialist Forum Nepal leader Ram Sahay Yadav on Friday said his party and the Rastriya Janata Party-Nepal were close to finalising a deal on division of first-past-the-post constituencies between them.

“There is a possibility that we might agree for 17 parliamentary FPTP constituencies for FSFN and 15 for RJPN across the Tarai,” he said and added that the two parties had, however, not sealed a deal yet on the FPTP constituencies between them.

These two parties have said that they would jointly stake claims on FPTP constituencies with the NC and then only they would divide them among themselves.
