KHALANGA, NOVEMBER 14

Feedback on the bill related to Sinja civilisation is being collected. The feedback will be collected initially from Lamathanda of Kanakasundari Rural Municipality in Jumla district.

The bill on preservation and development of Sinja civilisation has been registered at the Karnali Province Assembly.

Lawmaker and former minister for law in the province Naresh Bahandari informed that broader discussions would be held on the bill.

Lawmakers Bhandari and Padam Rokaya had registered the bill at the Province Assembly on September 26.

A programme was even organised in Kanakasundari Rural Municipality in this regard today, said FNJ Jumla chapter Chair Netra Bahadur Shahi.

The FNJ district chapter has been assigned the task of organising programmes to collect feedback on the bill. Shahi further informed that representatives from all eight local levels, those with knowledge of Sinja, mediapersons and the stakeholders will put forth their views on various aspects of the bill and Sinja civilisation.
