Felicity Volk has been appointed as the new Australian Ambassador to Nepal, on Monday.
Ambassador Volk presented her credentials to President Bidya Devi Bhandari at the latter's official residence in Shital Niwas, yesterday.
Volk took to Twitter to announce her appointment, while also appreciating her predecessor Ambassador Pete Budd for the completion of his tenure in the country.

Diplomatic relations between Nepal and Australia was established on February 15, 1960. Both countries had celebrated 50 years of diplomatic relations in 2010.
