DHANKUTA: Shooting for a film based on a book penned by literary figure Jhamak Kumari Ghimire has begun since Monday.

The book, Jeevan Kanda ki Phool (Life: Thorn or Flower), is a memoir of her struggle and social response to her.

The shooting began from her homeplace at Dhankuta Municiplaity-3 and will incorporate her significant life events and achievements.

The film will be produced by the Bista Brothers Films Private Limited and the Classic Cine Universe Private Limited.

It is scheduled to be released on upcoming Dashain festival, said Binod Bista Director of the film.
