FIMA stages buffalo rally in Gaur against govt
RAUTAHAT: The Federal Inclusive Madhesi Alliance (FIMA) on Sunday staged a buffalo rally in Gaur, district headquarters of Rautahat, as a symbolic protest against the government.
The protest was led by Anil Kumar Jha, Chairman of Nepal Sadhabhawan Party.
The protest was organised as the government did not pay any heed towards their demand, Jha said.
The march that began form BP Chok had rounded the different areas of the district headquarters before ending at the Indo-Nepal border point.
Pictures of President Bidya Devi Bhandari, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, Foreign Minister Kamal Thapa and Nepali Congress President Sushil Koirala were hanged to faces of buffaloes to show their anger towards the government.
