Bhairahawa, March 14

Property worth millions was gutted after a fire spread at Goyanka Steel Industry of the Bhairahawa-Lumbini corridor in Rupandehi today.

Police said raw materials, among other goods, were destroyed in the blaze. Industry operator Ram Gopal Goyanka said the fire had spread after an oil tank exploded while he was outside. Investigation into the incident was under way, said police.
