Siraha fire claims livestock, property worth Rs 300,000
LAHAN: A sudden midnight fire in a cowshed killed livestock and gutted properties worth Rs 300,000 in Lahan, Siraha on Sunday.
The fire broke out from a cowshed at around 11 pm killing an ox, a calf and a goat, police said. The shed belonged to Ram Chandra Chaudhary of Lahan Municipality-22, police added.
The fire was brought under control with a joint effort from a police team deputed from the Lahan Area Police Office and locals.
