SAPTARI: As many as eight houses in Bavangama at Tilathi Koilathi Rural Municipality in Saptari were gutted in a fire on Friday.

No human casualties have been reported yet and the detail of destruction is yet to be ascertained, authorities said.

Meanwhile, two fire engines with help from police personnel and locals have doused the fire.
