INARUWA: Property worth around Rs. 500,000 was reduced to ashes when a fire broke out at a cosmetic store in Harinagar VDC-2 of Sunsari in the wee hours of Tuesday.

Police said that the cause behind the fire that broke out at the cosmetic store owned by Shivan Chaurasiya was electric short circuit.

The incident took place at around 2 am this morning, informed SP Posh Raj Pokharel of the District Police Office (DPO), Sunsari.

The fire was contained with the help of locals at around 3 am, local Suraj Sah said.
