DHANGADHI: A massive fire has gutted seven shops and property worth millions in Attariya Municipality-13 of Kailali district in the wee hour of Sunday.

According to the District Police Office, Kailali, the abrupt spread of fire after an explosion of batteries in Purnagiri Electronic Shop had destroyed property worth millions in the seven shops in the market area.

DSP  Dilip Singh Bhandari informed that the fire was taken under control with the help of fire brigades, local people, Nepal Police and Nepal Army.
