Over 70 families of Siraha and Saptari districts whose houses were gutted last week in separate fire incidents are starving. Among those who lost every thing along with houses in the fire, 43 fire victims of Belahichpena VDC of Saptari have stated that they have nothing to eat. The Nepal Red Cross Society, Saptari branch had distributed some utensils, tents and water filters to 25 fire victims but they have nothing to eat, it is reported. Kashi Mandal, a victim urged the local authority to provide them with food items.
