JHAPA, MAY 25
Police arrested five gamblers from a house belonging to Dal Kumar Rai in Birtamod Municipality, Jhapa, on Wednesday.
The arrested have been identified as Dil Kumar Shrestha of Suryodaya Municipality, Ilam, Sanjip Ghatani, Sasuhang Chemjong, Dal Kumar Rai of Birtamod Municipality and Bhupu Rai of Mechinagar Municipality.
Acting on a tip-off, the police team deployed from Anarmani Area Police Office reached the spot and held the gamblers. The police team seized Rs 174,735 from the gambling den.
