CHITWAN, MAY 7
Five more Covid-19 infected persons died while undergoing treatment in two medical colleges of Chitwan district. Of them, one is from Chitwan while four others are from other districts.
A 69-year-old woman of Bharatpur Metropolitan City died in course of treatment at Old Medical College early this morning. The woman suffering from pneumonia was admitted to the hospital on May 2 and tested positive for the contagion on May 4.
Similarly, a 34-year-old man of Pratappur Rural Municipality-9 of Nawalparasi died of the infection this morning. He was suffering from pneumonia and admitted to Old Medical College on May 6. He tested positive on the same day. He was receiving treatment at COVID Intensive Care Unit.
Likewise, a 53-year-old man of Sainamaina Municipality-1 of Rupandehi, who was admitted to the hospital on May 6 after suffering from pneumonia, died of coronavirus infection early this morning. He had tested positive for Covid-19 on the same day. He died while undergoing treatment at COVID ICU.
Another Covid-19 infected man of Kawasoti Municipality-2, who had been admitted to the hospital for pneumonia on April 28 and tested positive the next day, died in course of treatment at Chitwan Medical College early this morning.
Meanwhile, a 53-year-old Covid-19 infected woman of Tikapur Municipality-9 of Kailali district died in course of treatment at Chitwan Medical College this morning. She was admitted to the hospital following respiratory complications.
