BHOJPUR: Five of seven victims of Dhankuta bus crash have been identified.

Police identified the victims as Hari Raj Khewa of Hattikharkha-5, Tara Basnet of Parewadin-7, her three-year-old unnamed daughter, Atimaya Tamang of Parewadin and Bed Prakash Agrawal of Dharan Sub-Metropolitan City-2.

Khewa is a former Minister of State for Finance.

Two of the deceased are yet to be identified.

Police said 33 persons sustained injuries in the accident and are undergoing treatment at the BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan.

Total seven - including three men, three women and a minor girl - were killed when a passenger bus skidded around 200 metres down the road in Sindhuwa Bazaar of Parewadin-5 today.
