KHOTANG: Over 226 ropanis of paddy fields have been swept away by the swollen Tawa Khola in Mattim-4, Manegau Puchhar of Khotang district, on Wednesday.

Paddy fields were swamped by floods triggered by incessant rainfall, which has been lashing the district for the past few days, it has been learned.

The flood swept away the land belonging to 19 farmers.

Mattim, Temba, Yamkha, Chuiridhadha, Dhiktel are the affected villages.
