FNCCI team locked up
Dhangadhi, July 21:
Irate businessmen today locked up members of Federation of FNCCI talk team, including central vice-president Krishna Tamrakar, and the officials of Kailali Chamber of Commerce and Industries, after they failed to resolve the dispute over syndicate system of truckers in far-western Nepal. They were released after three hours.
Tamrakar and vice president of the Seti Mahakali Truck Entrepreneurs’ Association Bharat Prasad Dhakal had arrived in Dhangadi yesterday for talks to resolve the syndicate dispute. However, the dispute could not be solved even after three-rounds of talks. The businessmen locked the members of the talk team after they decided to leave Dhangadi without resolving the dispute.
