FNJ to fight for scribe’s rights
Kathmandu, August 10:
General secretary of the Federation of Nepalese Journalists (FNJ), Mahendra Bista, said at an interaction today that the FNJ is fighting for the right to expression.
“One of the biggest achievements of the FNJ’s movement is that the government has not dared introduce media law aimed at curbing the rights to expression,” he said. Bista accused the government of hatching a conspiracy to split the umbrella organisation of about 5,000 journalists across the country.
